Air Conditioning Installers to the rescue!
Have you ever sat at home on a rainy day and wanted to change the weather? The current “summer” rainfall in London has had us thinking about it for at least a week..while climate scientists have been making some wild inventions in the wake of a severely escalating climate change problem, nothing is nearing control of the hot or cold weather.
As advanced as the human race has become, we are currently unable to control temperature..well outside at least. Inside is a different story.
Humans have come a long way from creating fires in caves to keep warm and scaling mountains to retrieve snow and ice to cool down.. we are now weather gods of the office and home since the invention of air conditioning and of course the evolution of man into air conditioning installers.
Not only can we “make fire” inside with the flick of a switch (that is turn the air conditioning onto heat mode), we can also do the impossible, “make snow”.. well the the equivalent temperatures any way (cooling mode to clarify).
Since 1902, temperature, or more specifically climate control and manipulation has come a long way from being created to stabilise humidity in the print factories. Given that Air Conditioning draws out humidity from a space, it was the perfect solution for humidity fluctuations in the early days of printing, where changes in humidity effected paper that needed multiple ink prints to take the images. It was the perfect climate control solution for cooling a space, however even today doesn’t work for everything. Air Conditioning is still not so good for wine cellars that love all that humidity .
Studies have shown air conditioning installation in recent years have not only lowered the rates of mortality during heat waves (the few we get in the uk..but more predominantly over seas) but also helps students score better in tests during the summer months with confirmation that there is a scientific correlation between productivity and keeping nice and cool. As the invention continues to evolve, and air conditioning installers put under more rigorous testing and watch from REFCOM, air con systems are now not only greener and cleaners, they are doing their bit the help the economy mature.
