What is a clean air zone?Â
An area where targeted vehicles are that do not meet the clean air zone standard will pay a daily rate if they travel with in a Clean Air Zone.
This has been put into place to help improve the quality of air. The U.K Government hopes that these changes will discourage drivers with vehicles not matting emission standards. Gradually pushing out the use of non-electric cars.
