Air Conditioning may see a new leading market competitor in the coming years from an unexpected source. Search engine giants, Google have recently announced a patent for a bladeless air conditioning unit.
Boasting silent cooling features similar to that of the recent 40 million design development from Dyson of the plugin bladeless fan units. This new patent could be the next high-tech move towards affordable residential air conditioning solutions with a low carbon footprint.
The patent included evaporator loops and smart thermostats which would cool without the use of excessive electricity. The design doesn’t include a refrigerant and also rumours to be significantly cheaper than its Dyson competitor. Advantages in design over Dyson such as being able to fit under a window while being completely nonobstructive have already become key selling points.
